About Developers
- After Effects, part of the Adobe suite, is a powerful software for creating captivating motion graphics and visual effects. It offers an extensive array of tools and features, empowering users to design stunning animations and enhance video projects with seamless integration. With its intuitive interface and powerful capabilities, After Effects is a cornerstone for motion graphic designers, video editors, and animators.
- Adobe After Effects was originally created by the Company of Science and Art (CoSA) in 1993. CoSA was founded by David Herbstman, Daniel Wilk, and Charles Csuri. The software was initially named “CoSA After Effects” and was designed for the Apple Macintosh. Later, in 1994, CoSA was acquired by Aldus Corporation, which was subsequently acquired by Adobe Systems in 1995. After this acquisition, the software was further developed and integrated into Adobe’s suite of creative tools, becoming Adobe After Effects as we know it today. Adobe has since continued to enhance and expand the capabilities of After Effects, making it an industry-standard software for motion graphics, visual effects, and video compositing.
