Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2025 · FreeSoftis.com
The short version
FreeSoftis.com tools run entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit any data you enter into our tools. Your invoices, passwords, tax figures, resumes — none of it ever leaves your device.
What we collect
We collect minimal data necessary to operate the site:
- Usage data — page views, tool usage counts, and general traffic patterns via Google Analytics (when enabled). This is anonymised and contains no personally identifiable information.
- Ad data — Google AdSense may use cookies to serve relevant ads. This is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
- Cookie preference — we store a single flag in your browser's localStorage (
fs-cookie-ok) to remember that you've accepted the cookie notice. No server is involved.
What we do NOT collect
- Any data you type into our tools (invoices, resumes, passwords, documents, text, colours, code, etc.)
- Your name, email address, or any account information — we have no accounts
- Payment information of any kind
- IP addresses stored beyond a session
- Any data sold to or shared with third parties beyond the ad/analytics services listed above
Cookies & third-party services
We use the following third-party services which may set their own cookies:
- Google AdSense — serves advertisements. Google may use cookies to personalise ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out at adssettings.google.com.
- Google Analytics — collects anonymised traffic data to help us understand how people use the site. IP anonymisation is enabled.
- jsPDF (cdnjs) — a JavaScript library loaded for PDF export tools. It runs entirely in your browser and sends no data anywhere.
Data storage & security
Because all tool processing happens client-side in your browser, there is no server storing your tool data. The only data transmitted is standard web traffic (page requests) and ad/analytics pings to Google's servers. All pages are served over HTTPS.
Children's privacy
FreeSoftis.com is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
